Atom RPG: Post-apocalyptic indie game is 86% complete. The biggest file (containing all the male lines) is complete, volunteers are now working on the last file which is much smaller, containing «only» 128 000 words.
We’re still working on There Is No Light. It’s hard to talk about specific progress, as the text is being released in batches, with 11 000 words in the project total at this time. Yurii Dragon, Dana Vosnyuk, Sophia Shul and Bohdan Peredrii are working on translation and editing.
In the distant past, about half a year ago, the mighty SBT Dragon has besieged several game kingdoms and the lords of one such domain have finally relented and agreed to have Ukrainian spread in their reals. And so we’ve begun working onTales of the Neon Sea. This project contains approximately 84 000 words, with 22% being done at this time.
Being edited
Editing the Banner Saga 3 is slowly tugging forward. The dialogues part is 28% done, with 66% overall progress (124 000 words total).
Several more files forKingdom Come: Deliverance have been edited further. The story line is more than half done, we’ve also edited some of the side quests and miscellaneous stuff.
Progress made with Into the Breach as well. It’s completely translated, editing is 36% done.
Books
Friends. The Official Cookbook was released byMAL’OPUS this October.
It contains recipes that will be an excellent find for both the fans of the series and the regular enjoyers.
First of all we would like to brag that we’ve had a meeting with Maksym Strikha, where he shared his experience in book translation, especially historically-themed ones. This event was made possible by Roman Hardashuk.
Tetiana Cherednychok and Sofia Shul explained about video game translation:
Ivan Yankovyi has made a montage of various curious moments from the last SBTournament (psst, there’s going to be a new tournament soon, so stay tuned). He also made an article with a little interview with some of the tournament participants, where they spoke about their general impressions, difficulties, expectations and more: SBTournament: aftermath
Yanis Verminko prepared a new podcast concerning the quality of volunteer-made translations.
